Open-IT experience in business modelling has developed on the basis of experience of a large number of important modelling projects - in Defence, Telecomms and Manufacturing.

It stemmed from work in the development of the RM-ODP enterprise language standard (IS 15414 | ITU-T X.911), and its application in the MOD over a number of years.

Open-IT was responsible for development of the business modelling method and the use of UML for business modelling in the COMBINE project.

We were subsequently responsible for the business modelling for the largest web-hosting facility in Europe; then for all of the modelling necessary for the de-merger of a major manufacturing company.
